Imagine lying in a hammock on your own private terrace, listening to the sounds of the jungle… The charming Namuwoki Lodge is just the spot, nestled in the rainforest near beautiful Playa Chiquita Beach.

Located just 5km south of Puerto Viejo, on Costa Rica’s unspoilt Caribbean coastline, here you can soak up the distinct local vibe, hang out at the beach and learn about the local culture and wildlife. The Jaguar Rescue Centre and the popular Pura Gula restaurant are both within walking distance of the lodge.

Namuwoki’s exquisitely designed wooden bungalows and villas are simple yet comfortable, and tastefully decorated in fresh whites with a splash of tropical colour. All come with hammocks, ceiling fan or air conditioning, bathroom and private terrace.

The lodge’s on-site restaurant serves an appetising selection of seafood and meat dishes, grilled with a touch of Latino flair, while a choice of cocktails and other beverages are on offer at the poolside bar. Namuwoki also has a spa – we highly recommend the chocolate massage!
