Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge, Lake St. Clair National Park

Overview

Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is a warm, rustic retreat with eighty-six cabins, sheltered by the Tasmanian wilderness on the northern edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain and Lake St. Clair National Park. A warm, rustic retreat, the Waldheim Alpine Spa does its best to help you relax with a therapeutic massage or a quick steam in the sauna.

A daily activity programme ensures that there is always something to keep you busy, but the web of walking trails around the Lodge means you can head out on your own as well, perhaps to discover some of the incredible plant and animal life which is found no where else on earth. Two restaurants on site and a charming bar ensure that there is plenty of space to relax and catch up with other travellers, or to simply contemplate your surroundings over a glass of the local wine.

The Lodge offers four different styles of private timber cabins, each set discreetly in the wilderness and offering magnificent views of the natural surroundings. The contemporary Pencil Pine cabins are simple but comfortable, whilst the Spa Cabins feature verandas, log fires and spa baths. The Spa Suites are styled with handmade Tasmanian wood furnishings, log fire and deep spa bath. The luxurious King Billy Suites offer spacious rooms with separate sleeping and living areas and a large deck with outdoor hot tub, the perfect place in which to relax and take in the breathtaking natural beauty of Cradle Mountain.
