Sustainability at Sal Salis
The camp boasts minimal impact on the fragile environment of Cape Range National Park. Almost 100% of the camp’s power is generated by the sun through an array of solar panels. Boardwalks prevent unnecessary soil erosion and the wilderness tents and main lodge blend in naturally with the surrounding landscape. Here you will find no TVs or telephones, simply an incredible and ever-changing landscape to absorb. Each en-suite bathroom has a nature loo and the toiletries provided are local, chemical free and organic. The bed linen is organic cotton and also chemical free.
Sal Salis also donate 5% of the business’s turnover to Western Australia’s Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Parks and Wildlife Service, to assist in conservation work across Western Australia.
