From the oddly endearing Baird’s tapir and elusive jaguars to melodious scarlet macaws and playful squirrel monkeys, hiking through Corcovado always provides the chance for some memorable encounters.
Your journey begins with a scenic 30-minute boat ride to the San Pedrillo ranger station – keeping your eyes peeled for dolphins and humpback whales along the way. Upon completing a wet landing, switch into appropriate footwear to navigate the trails of the San Pedrillo and La Sirena stations.
Under the guidance of a local naturalist guide, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking variety of wildlife. You’ll also have time to enjoy a picnic lunch. and cool off with a refreshing dip under a rainforest waterfall.
