Overview

A fascinating day trip by Superjeep, this excursion departs from Reykjavik and heads to the magnificent southern coast of Iceland.

The journey begins with a trip to the beautiful western waterfall of Seljalandsfoss, offering guests the chance to follow a rocky path up to and even behind the powerful curtain of water.

Venture into the picturesque valley of Thorsmork which is surrounded on three sides by glaciers and criss-crossed by raging rivers and gentle streams. Named for the Viking God of thunder, Thor, your expert guide/driving will navigate along this beautiful, if rugged track, showing off his unique skill.

The final stop of this tour is the glacial lagoon of Eyjafajallajokull which was dramatically altered by the volcanic eruption of April/May 2010. The flowing lava under this immense piece of ice and snow has left lava rock rivers and a fragmented glacier left in its wake. Minimum 2 participants.

Due to this being a highland track, the excursion is subject to weather conditions at all times.

Note Minimum 2 passengers in summer and 4 passengers in winter. Due to this being a highland track the excursion it is subject to weather conditions at all times.
