Your trip begins with a night in San Jose’s stylish Santa Ana district, before hopping on a flight to Puerto Jimenez, in the heart of the Osa Peninsula. Enjoy a stay in a luxury jungle lodge, where you’ll explore primary rainforest, spot incredible wildlife, and immerse yourself in the remote beauty of this biodiverse gem.
You’ll then fly back to San Jose for a scenic transfer to the volcanic and verdant region of Bajos Del Toro. A 2-night stay at the idyllic El Silencio Lodge & Spa includes a guided hike to a stunning waterfall. You can also opt to indulge in rejuvenating treatments at their renowned spa, or just kick back and relax in your serene surroundings.
Next it’s off to Arenal for two nights at the sublime Amor Arenal. Hike the lava rocks at the base of the volcano and then relax in healing natural hot springs. Enjoy breathtaking volcano views with a sundowner at the lodge.
Your final stop is the bohemian, laid-back beach resort of Santa Teresa, known for its chic hotels, fantastic restaurants, and vibrant bars. Itinerary
Upon arrival you’ll be met and transferred to the Santa Ana region of San Jose San for a one-night stay. This bustling area has great upscale restaurants and bars to try out this evening.
This morning a private transfer will take you to the airport to fly to Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula, one of the most biodiverse places on earth. You’ll be met at the airstrip and transferred to your luxury wilderness lodge, home for the next 4 nights. Once settled in, enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle which completely encompass your surroundings. Take advantage of one of the many on site activities included in your stay – a night walk before dinner is the ideal way to kickstart your jungle immersion.

During your stay you’ll have the chance to indulge in various experiences available at the lodge. After breakfast you’ll head back to the airstrip for your short flight back to San Jose. From here it’s a scenic 90 minute private transfer to the beautiful Bajos del Toro area. Nestled in the heart of Costa Rica’s cloud forest, it’s known for its stunning waterfalls, rich biodiversity, and tranquil ambiance. On arrival at your lodge, you can explore the many hiking trails, enjoy the spa, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this hidden gem.
An unmissable trip to Las Gemelas Waterfalls is included today. Your Eco-Concierge will lead you along well-groomed paths that trace a pristine creek to find soothing waterfalls. Along the way you’ll learn about the fascinating cloud forest ecosystem. After breakfast take a private transfer to Arenal, driving through the northern lowlands villages. On arrival make your way to the gorgeous Amor Arenal, your accommodation for the next 2 nights. Today’s included adventure is a 2-hour hike along the edge of the lava fields near Arenal Volcano. At the Arenal 1968 Park you’ll learn about the volcano’s history and its wildlife. You’ll take in spectacular views of the volcano, lake, and Tilaran Mountains. Later head back to your lodge and enjoy the on-site hot springs. There’s even a wet bar so you can enjoy a cocktail or two while taking advantage of the pool’s restorative thermal properties.
Arenal Volcano 1968 Park Trek
Transfer to the local airport for your flight to Cobana on the Nicoya Peninsula. A short private transfer takes you to the beautiful beach resort of Santa Teresa where you’ll stay for the next 3 nights. Enjoy its laid back atmosphere and surrounding nature. Tonight you can try one of the fantastic restaurants and bars nearby.
From Santa Teresa you’ll visit the spectacular Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve. This was the county’s first protected area and a fascinating place that showcases diverse wildlife like monkeys and coatis amid a lush landscape. Immerse yourself in the natural charm and conservation legacy of Costa Rica on this enriching guided tour. You’ll also have plenty of free time to relax at the beach, or perhaps a spa treatment is in order before your journey home.
Take a private transfer back to the local airport for your flight to San Jose, where you’ll connect with your onward flight home.
