Picture palm-fringed beaches lapped by the azure waters of the Pacific Ocean, stunning wetlands, one of the world’s last tropical dry forests, and spectacular volcanic backdrops… Costa Rica’s northwest really is the quintessential tropical paradise. This the place for relaxing coastal escapes with a wide selection of upscale, boutique and rustic chic hotels to choose from. Marine wonders, the chance to see exotic wildlife, and authentic ‘tico’ ranch experiences are the order of the day.
The forest-shrouded Nicoya Peninsula is one of the world’s five Blue Zones, in recognition of the long and healthy lives enjoyed by the locals. It’s not hard to see why as you explore the peninsula’s beautiful hidden beaches, bays and villages, where a laidback atmosphere prevails, and yoga is a way of life.
I understand that one size doesn’t fit all, and that’s why you have the freedom to design your experience, your way.
