Enjoy the beautiful colours and crisp temperatures of autumn on this six-night inclusive break taking you to three stunning properties in the heart of the Swedish Lapland wilderness. Each property adds something special to the overall holiday experience and with activities included you can truly immerse yourself in the nature. The days are perfect for outdoor pursuits while in the evening offers chances to see the northern lights in night sky.
The first location is Brandon Lodge in the Lulea archipelago. In a delightful setting next to the sea, its detached cabins are dotted on the edge of the forest with views towards the Bay of Bothnia. Here you’ll learn Nordic wilderness skills in the fresh autumn air and spend evenings relaxing and soaking up the surroundings. And to fully unwind after the day’s activities, the lodge’s sauna is included once during your stay.
From Brandon Lodge you are transferred to Arctic Retreat for two nights. Situated in the Rane River valley, the retreat is a delightful log cabin camp with four well-appointed detached cabins. The retreat is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the wilderness with no light pollution interfering with any aurora activity, it’s the perfect place to relax and appreciate the natural surroundings. Enjoy a northern lights photography evening during your stay.
The final two nights are spent at the unique Treehotel near the small village Harads. Set in the forest a short distance from the main guesthouse the individually themed rooms are perched high in the trees. During your stay you’ll take a guided forest hike including outdoor lunch and visit Storforsen, one of the highest white water rapids in Europe.
With each night offering the tantalising prospect of seeing the aurora borealis, this holiday showcases Swedish Lapland during autumn.

On arrival at Lulea Airport you will be met and transferred to Brandon Lodge in the Lulea Archipelago (approx. 45 minutes). Check-in to your cabin for a two-night stay and enjoy getting to know your surroundings before the evening meal in the main lodge restaurant.

Life in Swedish Lapland is made more comfortable by learning how to dress and behave in sub-arctic conditions and the environment. The guide takes you on a 3-hour journey into the forest on an adventurous and educational excursion. Learn how to make a fire arctic style, make traditional coffee and learn about the flora and fauna of this area. At lunch time you can help make a wilderness lunch around the fire.

After spending time in a coastal setting, head inland by transfer (journey time 1 hour) to the Rane River valley and Arctic Retreat, your base for 2 nights. This is a wonderful location in the remote wilderness, ideal for northern lights viewings and getting close to nature.
