Imagine paddling through brash ice, in the shadow of mighty glaciers, where the silence of the vast polar wilderness is broken only by the crackling of ice and the sound of wildlife. Whether it’s penguins darting through the water, immense walrus coming up to breathe, or inquisitive seals swimming up for a closer look, stop paddling, sit back and take in the serene majesty of your surroundings.
- Previous kayaking experience is necessary
- You will be using stable double sea-kayaks
- Equipment is provided, including drysuit, neoprene boots, pogies (mitts) & life-jacket
- Conditions permitting, you will aim to kayak around 4-5 times during the voyage
