Overview

With an extensive choice of air routes and fares available for flying to New Zealand, prices shown for our holidays do not include flights. There are also many stopover options and almost all of our clients choose to tailor their holiday to some extent, so we prefer to quote for flights based on individual requirements.

Consider your departure and return dates, any stopovers destinations you’d like to include on either or both journeys, which may well determine your route and/or airline. Also consider your favoured cabin class (economy, premium or business). Chat through with our team and we’ll then be able to secure the best fare available to suit your needs.

There is no such thing as a standard price for flights to New Zealand, costs vary according to time of year, route flown and offers available however a reasonable indication of air fare costs is £800-1000 (excluding airport taxes) based on economy class.

Airport transfers

Make your arrival in Australia as straightforward as possible and let us pre-arrange an airport transfer to your accommodation.  Relax and savour the start of your holiday in comfort.

Silence with a view. Take a trip on the aptly named, Overnight Doubtful Sound Cruise for a peaceful experience that backs up New Zealand's reputation as a place for otherworldly natural beauty.

Passport & visa information

All international visitors travelling to and transiting through New Zealand will require an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). The ETA can be applied for via the ETA mobile app c, or by completing the online form on the Immigration NZ website.

In addition to the ETA, visitors to New Zealand are also required to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL). This contributes directly to the tourism infrastructure and helps protect the natural environment of New Zealand. You will be charged for the IVL automatically when you apply for your ETA.

We recommend that you apply for your ETA and IVL well in advance of your departure date. Applications only take up to 10 minutes to complete and can take up to 72 hours to approve. Your ETA and IVL are valid for multiple visits and for up to two years. For more information on NZ visa requirements please speak to your Travel Specialist or visit the immigration website.

Your passport should be valid for at least a month after your departure date. However, we strongly recommend having at least six months’ additional validity on your passport, as requirements vary for individual stopover destinations.
