Situated just over an hour away from Lulea in the southern part of Swedish Lapland, Arctic Retreat has a beautiful wilderness location next to the river and set amongst the forest. With just 3 separate log cabins, it provides an intimate and very special place to stay. The creation of a local family, your hosts are Liza and Niklas, who will ensure you have a warm and genuine experience with a high level of personal service throughout your stay.
Each log cabin has a log burner and a private outdoor Jacuzzi, and guests have access to a sauna and outdoor camp fire area. A stay at Arctic Retreat includes full board with a wholesome 3 course dinner in the evenings. All meals are provided according to a set menu, with options to meet dietary needs.
The Retreat suits couples, families and private groups alike – the cabins can be booked individually or the whole retreat for exclusive stays.

Perched at the edge of the river, the cabins have floor to ceiling windows facing the north for aurora watching; private outdoor Jacuzzi on the deck; bathroom with shower; log burner with wood; tea/coffee making facilities and use of a wood fired sauna in a separate building.
Log Cabin 1 (Sun) – 1 loft bedroom with double bed, plus option to add a further single bed (minimum 2, maximum 3 people).
Log Cabin 2 (Wind) – 1 loft bedroom with double bed. Space downstairs with 2 bunk beds (minimum 2, maximum 4 people).
Log Cabin 3 (Water) – Single floor with double bedroom, plus option of further single bed (minimum 2, maximum 3 people).
