Bugaboo Lodge, Bugaboo Provincial Park

Overview

Nestled in the shadows of the Bugaboos mountain range in south east British Columbia, the Bugaboo Lodge sits at a commanding 1,500 metres high (that’s nearly a mile). With some of the best heli-hiking opportunities available in Canada, this lodge offers you everything you need to explore and discover or simply relax.

This is the ultimate wilderness escape, with hiking options including the spectacular Cobalt Lake and Thunderwater Lake, as well as the Vowell Glacier. Raise your adrenaline on the thrilling climbing route, Via Ferrata, whose start and end points are accessible only by helicopter.

Fully equipped with all the modern amenities, this casual, yet refined lodge provides the ultimate home base for relaxation and exploration. Staffed with a dedicated team of guides, hosts and culinary talent, Bugaboo Lodge is equipped with a variety of offerings to enhance your experience, from hot tubs and massage, to fine dining and a full-service bar.

The 32 guest rooms are cosy and thoughtfully appointed, offering the very best of the high alpine views. The common room features a grand fireplace, full-service bar, plush armchairs and sweeping mountain views, perfect for relaxing into after a day of exploration.

Gourmet meals are served family-style and, in alpine tradition, shared with guides and senior staff. Connect and create friendships amidst the breathtaking mountain backdrop.
