The Island Solitude is a custom built 82’ inch sloop designed specifically for small group expeditions.

She features a spacious salon, excellent library and a large outside deck. The wheelhouse is the spot to enjoy delicious meals with your fellow travellers while enjoying the incredible 360˚ views. Inflatable tenders allow access to shore while kayaks are available to explore in protected waters.

The boat was designed with the principles of ecotourism in mind. The engines exceed EPA emission standards and the modern hull was designed for improved sailing performance, making it more efficient for travel whether motoring or under sail. As a certified Canadian Ministry of Transport passenger vessel, the Island Solitude has all of the safety equipment, electronic navigation aids and features you would expect from a vessel of her standard.

The Island Solitude has 6 double occupancy cabins, all with private en-suite bathrooms, for a capacity of 12 passengers. All of the cabins have adequate storage space for bags, personal items and jackets. Coat hangers and life jackets are stowed in every cabin for your convenience. There is electricity in each room, so you can charge your camera batteries and enjoy a reading light in the evening.
