ms quest polar vessel

Overview

Offering an authentic small ship experience, the M/S Quest delivers a family feel on board and a greater sense of immersion and solitude as you explore the vast polar landscapes.

Maximum passengers: 50

Carrying just 50 passengers, the benefits of cruising on a small ship such as the M/S Quest include the chance to get to know everyone on board, more personal wildlife encounters and maximising time ashore with quicker Zodiac boarding. Travelling amongst fewer people also enhances the feeling of solitude as you explore some of the remotest corners of the planet.

M/S Quest was originally served as a ferry on Greenland’s west coast before being completely renovated to begin a new career as an intimate and comfortable expedition ship. Facilities on board the ship include spacious observation decks and a panorama lounge to ensure you can always enjoy the view, whether outside or inside. In the lounge you will find a well-stocked bar and a small library.

Svalbard wins at glaciers. I know my global glaciers, but this is up there with the best of them. When it comes to scale, colour palette and presence, this magnificent landscape nails it.
