Excellent tour of New Zealand (North and South Islands) by coach and rail
Excellent and responsive team. We worked with Gary, who had been round New Zealand and knew all the locations. He organised our Premium Economy seats and arranged for our outward flight to take place one week earlier, as we had arranged to spend a week with friends near Auckland before joining the tour group. He also helped us sort out our NZ visas on line.
One thing we had not tumbled to was that the tour provider was Grand Pacific. But GP was extremely well organised; we had an excellent tour leader for the whole trip and our coach driver (and guide) was quite exceptional, making the journeys memorable and enjoyable.
I did wonder whether it would have been cheaper to book direct with GP, but this is a niggle.
The premium economy flights were a godsend; I am 6ft 2in and the second leg home from Hong Kong (14+hours) would have been horrible without the extra legroom.
Overall we had an amazing holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it all.
Great Experience....
Informative , well delivered nothing too much trouble. I landed in tromso to discover my mobile phone wouldn't connect to the internet and was no good. I managed to contact the discover the world office in the uk and they emailed me my itinerary via my wife's phone and saved the day, giving me my arranged schedule back. kept me calm and wished me well. THANKYOU !!!!!

Excellent experience. Fantastic knowledgeable guide. Lots of activities but it never felt rushed. Food was good and accommodation was perfect for the holiday with plenty of space and good, clean room.

Generally very good service. Apart from a problem with the airport to Reykjavik transfer (the return journey was fine) there were no issues. On a few occasions when I spoke to Discover the World staff they were pleasant and helpful.
Lofoten Islands fly drive
Bruno helped us design our itinery and made good hotel recommendations and a suitable route to explore these scenic islands. We very much enjoyed our holiday.
